Questions from importers
Do you make the sarees yourselves, or buy them from other mills?
Jakado is a manufacturer. The sarees are woven at our own factory in Pipodara, Surat, on jacquard looms, so the quote you receive comes from the people who make them.
Which saree types can I order for export?
Banarasi silk, Kanchipuram, Kora silk, Kora Banarasi silk, Tissue, Paithani, Patola and Banarasi Meena. All of them are woven in Surat on jacquard looms, and each type has its own page under Products.
How wide is the colour choice for an overseas order?
We work with trending designs and the widest range of new matching colours, so you can build a range that suits the shops you supply. Share what you are looking for and we will point you to matching options from the catalogue.
Can I see the factory before I place an order from overseas?
Yes. Factory visits are offered in person or by video call, arranged after a prior call or any setup we agree together. A video call lets you see the looms without travelling.
